Reference materials (RM) ensure the traceability of measurement results to approved reference values. Reference materials are used to determine measurement uncertainty, calibration, method validation, suitability testing and quality assurance. For accredited test laboratories, the use of reference materials for quality assurance is obligatory (ISO 17025). Reference materials are absolutely essential to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement results.

We develop reference materials to ensure accurate and reliable measurement results based on the principles and requirements of relevant ISO Guides 34 and 35. In the process of development of RM, we use our many years of experience and measuring competence - proven in numerous round robin tests and interlaboratory comparison tests. All reference materials are homogenized, round robin tested biomass substances in which one or more characteristic values are so precisely defined that they can be used for calibrating as well as for evaluation of testing methods.
