The Professional Pellets Analyzer (PPA) is a fully automatic device for the determination of moisture content, bulk density, mechanical durability and temperature of wood pellets. The PPA was developed for quality control in pellet plants required for quality management systems as ENplus® / DINplus.
It can also be used in other places, where a frequent control of pellet quality is required (e.g. loading points). Non-woody pellets (e.g. agro biomass, thermally treated biomass, animal feed) can be measured as well. In these cases a specific calibration is required.
